Hi there. The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the performance of emissions related systems in your vehicle. In the case of the catalytic converter, it looks at the signals from the oxygen sensors to determine catalytic converter efficiency. If the battery is disconnected or diagnostic trouble codes are cleared, the PCM must begin it's monitor cycle over. In this case, the PCM will say the catalytic converter is "not ready" until it has completed another cycle. Unfortunately, the catalytic converter can take a long time to run through one its cycle. This is because the PCM is looking for specific driving conditions to be performed. I would drive your vehicle for a few more days then have the monitors re-checked to see if the converter monitor has run.
