I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. Without knowing all of the information like the vehicle history, the components that have been tested or replaced, and the results of any tests that need to be run, I can only give you a general answer to your question. If you have to prime the engine to start it with a dose of extra fuel or starting fluid and it will then start and run, this indicates that the fault is being caused by a lack of fuel. Since the fuel pump was already replaced and it did not resolve this issue, I recommend trying to replacing the fuel filter first ( if this has not been done already ) to see if that resolves the issue. If this does not resolve the issue then I recommend that the fuel pressure regulator, as well as the fuel injectors, are tested to see if any of them are acting up to where one of them needs to be replaced. The testing can be performed at a shop for around $100. The cost to repair the issue varies as it depends on what is found to be at fault.
