Have you tried taking the belt off of the water pump and starting the engine to see if the noise goes away?

Took belt off and turrned it on no noise
Automotive Expert
Ok then yes, likely the water pump is going bad. If you spin the pump by hand you may be able to feel the roughness of the bearing or the play in the shaft.

The pully and the wster pump do i need both or do they come togeter
Automotive Expert
You should just need the water pump. They come seperately.
