Q: Car burning coolant

asked by on

My car is burning coolant. I do not see any leaks.

Hi there. If your car has overheated, it may have caused your head gasket to warp. This warpage allows coolant to enter combustion chambers causing your vehicle to not efficiently cool. An external leak is not necessary for this blown head gasket to occur. I’d strongly suggest having a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, correctly diagnose your overheating issue.
