Alternator Replacement $166.62 - $1297.14 Get a Quote

Hello, if you hear a bearing that is noisy in the alternator, the only repair is to replace the alternator. This is something that should be done sooner than later to avoid the bearing failing and locking up the alternator since this can possibly cause damage to other components. If you need to have your alternator replaced, I would recommend having a professional mechanic come to you to make this repair on your vehicle.
