Check Engine Light is on Inspection $79.99 - $89.99 Get a Quote

Hi there:

If I’m understanding your question correctly, it appears you’re asking why your car won’t accelerate past 70 to 80 (but I’m not sure if you’re talking MPH or KM/H). When this happens, it’s typically a problem with a governor on the vehicle, which is usually something that is fixed or reviewed by a dealership. You might want to contact a local mechanic to complete a full check engine light inspection to determine if any electrical faults are actively stored in the ECU.

It is possible that this could have been a fluke issue. However if this is not the case I would recommend having your transmission inspected by a qualified professional to determine if everything is functioning properly.

Car clicked when trying to start it so I changed battery and now it just shuts off when I try to start it

If the vehicle will not start with a good battery then you need to see if the theft system is activated? Try to hold your key FOB next to the push to start button before pressing button to see if...
