1987 Pontiac Grand Am Se 3.0 v6 three speed, does the bottom trans line go to the bottom or top of the radiator.

My car has 87990 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The outlet from the transmission is plumbed to the top radiator connection. The bottom port on the radiator goes to the inlet (return) on the transmission. The return port in the transmission will have an internal check valve for identification. If you are using OEM replacement tubing, typically the pre-bends in the tubing will make it impossible to hook it up incorrectly. If you need assistance, please request service and the responding certified mechanic will get this taken care of for you. If you have any further questions at all regarding this service, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.
