SERVICE

Alternator

AMOUNT PAID

$507.78
by Rick from Tucson, AZ 85715

Jason is an awesome mechanic. Prompt, neat and very good at what he does. This alternator was not easy and it was 105 degrees out, but he didn't let that affect the job at all. He finished on time and even though the battery was seriously dead he stayed until everything was up and running. I saved a bunch of money over the dealer and Jason did better work I'm sure. Can't recommend him enough.

AMOUNT PAID

$299.82

Jason is very professional and courteous. He was on time and made sure that everything was done. I have had a lot of work done on my car and am very pleased with the service and cost. I especially like the convenience of having him come to the house. I have told all of my friends about my great experience with YourMechanic.

Josh was on time, and actually found the problem that my other mechanic had been unable to find. He took care of some minor things and recommended repairs that I knew about. I wish I had found Your Mechanic a few years ago, but am pleased to say that I will definitely call on Josh for future repairs and maintenance on my vehicle.

Car was working fine then randomly shut off and will not turn back on, check engine light came on after the car turned off.
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. First you would need to check for any codes that could be stored or pending on the ECM (computer). The code will direct you to the location area that could be the cause of the noise that occurred...
Car feels like it's going to stall when stopped, just had timing belt and water pump replaced. Is the timing off?
Answered by John
It's not really likely that the timing is off. Modern cars with distributorless ignition rarely have any issues with the timing. If you're having problems with your idle the first thing to look for is air leaks. Any air that...
Coolant leaking outside on front passenger side
Answered by Jeff
It sounds like your coolant overflow tank may be leaking as this is where it is usually located underneath the hood of the vehicle. If the leaking only occurs after driving the vehicle, it is likely that the radiator is...
Stalling
Answered by Jeff
Hi There, It sounds like you may have a dirty or failing idle air control valve causing your engine idle to fluctuate and eventually stall. The idle air control valve (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/idle-control-valve-replacement) is a small valve on the engine's intake system...
