He called this morning to confirm the appointment and to say he would call me 30 mins before arriving, which he did. Was on time, started the job right away. Did a vehicle inspection and then begin to see what the problem was. He found out that I had a blown head gasket and wasn't able to fix the issue. Suggested that I take to another mechanic who could further assist me with getting a new engine or double check to see if the head gasket could be repaired. I was very happy. Will call on him again to do work on my other vehicle.

Answers to common Dodge Aries questions

Q: Starts for a second, dies, and won't start again unless you disconnect battery.
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. The symptoms that you are having seems to be with a faulty PCM (powertrain control module, computer). If you are able to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, then restart the vehicle, there is an issue with...
Q: Truck runs great but stalls when you come to a stop or put in park. No diagnostic code
Answered by Mark
Hi there. Even though, all the vacuum lines appear to be properly connected, a vacuum leak could still be present. The vacuum operated component could be leaking. This could affect proper operation of the IAC (idle air control) valve. It...
Q: Loud grinding noise coming from front of the car.
Answered by Andrew
This could possibly be a wheel bearing failure. Wheel bearings can go dry causing a grinding or growling noise when the wheels are spinning. I would recommend having your suspension system inspected (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-making-a-noise-inspection) for any play or faulty parts. When...
Q: To much fuel and not enough air flow.
Answered by Jeff
This sounds like a MAF (mass air flow) sensor problem. As you may already know, this regulates the flow of air into the engine allowing the proper air/fuel mixture to be injected into the engine. When this is faulty, I...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Patrick was very professional and polite. He inspected my car and found that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He is very friendly and I would DEFINATELY recommend Patrick to all my family, friends and co-workers.

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!

A++ Highly recommended! Bryce was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He explained to me in detail exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced. I will definitely be booking Bryce for my next appointment.
