Good Afternoon, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* ill be helping you, so sorry to hear about the issues here on the VW. I know how frustrating it can be to deal with a rough running engine. The P2187 code indicates that the engine is running lean, which means there is not fuel in the air fuel ratio. The P0506 code indicates an issue with idle control. I would recommend we start off with checking for any vacuum leaks you can see or hear. I would also recommend that you replace all 4 spark plugs since thats a common issue on these models that causes rough running. Being that you have a lean code and rough running we can also suspect that the fuel pump is not providing enough fuel to the engine and that is also causing the issue. If the vacuum and plugs check out i would next recommend a fuel pressure test.

Hi there. Most modern engines have both camshaft position sensors (multiple) and crankshaft position sensors. The turn signal blinks rapidly so I replaced and it worked ok but then blinked rapidly again after awhile then rapidly again.
What you are describing sounds like a bad turn signal flasher (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/hazard-turn-signal-flasher-replacement). The flasher unit is an electrical unit that is usually located under the hood and is wired with the turn signal lights. This flasher sends short intermittent bursts...
