Q: Volkswagen beetle 1998. 2.0L. No shifting after battery removal.
I removed the battery to replace a part.when i reinstaled the batery, the car is not shifting between gears. I did check fueses for the computer and transmision module.every thing ok. How can i reprogram it. The car was perfect before removing that batery. Transmision was working perfect right before. A friend said i shoul replace the speed sensor, tcm, selenoids etc. But I think is something needs to be reprogramed
