Q: Truck shorts out when starting

asked by on

I do not know the specific problem with the truck, I only know it has something to do with the electrical. The truck shorts out when it starts.

Hi, there is a few reasons your truck is shorting out when it starts. It could be a loose wire harness, a bad ground strap connection, a bad connection of the ground cable to the chassis, or a bad ignition switch. I would recommend having a qualified mechanic from YourMechanic come out to diagnose and fix your electrical issue.
