Q: Ticking noise in my engine.

asked by on

The engine for my 2007 Expedition has a ticking noise. Could the cam phase shifter or something else be bad?

A ticking noise sounds like a bad valve lash adjuster and is a common problem with these cars. I would have a technician inspect the noise from your engine.
