Q: The coolant is leaking from the thermostat

asked by on

I replaced my old thermostat, when I put everything back. I just put the gasket and tight the bolds up, but after a while i noticed that the coolant were leaking from there, so what can i do to make it stop?

My car has 150000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

You need to use silicone on each side of gasket and make sure thermostat is in the slot that holds it and it did not come out of position.
