January 8, 2015 at 140471mi I took in my 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee and was told I needed to replace both calipers, both rotors, and break hose. the write up form the Hall Dealership states "L/F brakes are metal to metal and caliper seized due to collapsed brake hose 2.50 replaced front break calipers, pads, and rotors. Also replaced left front brake hose due to slide pin seized in bore." On January 28, 2017 at 158,603mi I started to hear the grinding noise again, so I took it back to the same Hall dealership. They inspected my jeep and informed me that the following needed to be replaced: brake hoses, rear brake pads, rear rotors, and front brake calipers. I am not a mechanic at all so I called my dad who works on semis and he told me there is very little to no chance of calipers going out in 2 years, I also did some research online and discovered that everything that was replaced in 2015 should be good from 5-10 years or 25-70,000 miles. please help!
