asked by on

Hi i have a skoda fabia vrs 1.9 i hear a rattling noise from the engine but when i break it stops i dont know what it can be also my car gets stuck in 1st and reverse gear

It sounds like you may have a clutch pressure plate problem or a release bearing going bad. This is why you have problems shifting first and reverse. Have a mechanic check the clutch to see if it is in need or repairs.
