Q: How to disconnect the factory alarm box

asked by on October 09, 2016

How do I locate the alarm box and disable it manually, as my key doesn't work to disable it?

My car has 157 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi, thanks for writing in. The factory alarm system is integrated into the modules of the vehicle and cannot be bypassed. If they could, then this would defeat the original purpose to stop theft of the vehicle. You will need to have the system tested and diagnosed using a factory scanner to repair the problem with the system.
