Hi there. The most common cause of the window glass coming off is a broken window regulator. If the regulator assembly fails, the track can become crooked and it can knock the window off track. In order to diagnose exactly what is going on, a mechanic would need to remove the door panel to inspect the regulator and motor assembly. If this is something that you are not comfortable doing, then I would get some assistance from a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, to inspect the window components and make the necessary repairs.
