This is the bad news as this is a big indication of a burnt-out clutch pack?
Doing a flush and fluid change with a filter is not going to be helpful at this stage, just wasting money sadly to say.
Sorry Paul but this is a sign of a transmission repair or replacement.
I think you were thinking this anyway and just needed back up on what to do. which is rebuild or replace the transmission cheaper and faster, many of these transmissions at the salvage yards with goo warranty that I would look into in this case.
