Q: Permanent DTC?

asked by on January 07, 2017

Does 2009 Toyota Sienna have permanent DTC?

My car has 140000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. It is possible that the 09 Sienna may have permanent codes. If it does, this is only for informational purposes for a qualified technician. These codes will clear themselves once a specified number of drive cycles without the same fault have been completed. If a check engine light returns shortly after a repair and the current code matches the permanent then the repair did not correct the condition that set the code. I hope this has helped you.
