Q: Oil change

asked by on

I recently got an oil change and put in standard conventional oil rather than the recommended synthetic 0w-20 I believe my manual says to use. Will this be a problem for my car?

My car has 30000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

I do not see where your engine says only use synthetic oil 0w20. You should not have to worry about it and can go back to synthetic oil if you like. Double check your owners manual to make sure you can use regular or synthetic 0w20 oil.
