Q: No acceleration

asked by on June 17, 2017

Acceleration is very slow when I take off from a street light and can't get over 30 mph and 2500 rpms most of the time. When I go up hill I actually start loosing speed and when I floor it I actually can feel the car slow down alot and I go forward. Almost like the car is stoping. My engine light is on and I checked it and it said my EGR valve was bad so I replaced it and it didn't help at all.

My car has 188000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
