HelloMy 2004 Nissan exterra once I put it in reverse it cuts off then I'll re crank it and it does the same thing just need to figure out what's going on with it

To know 100% it's going to need hooked up to a computer. With reverse being a lower gear it will alert to issues at idle faster. it could be cam sensor, coils or fuel delivery even transmission trouble. it sounds like the beginning of a problem.
