The proper way to fix this misfire code is to replace the [spark plugs](/topics-spark-plug-nissan/) and change out the coils. I'd highly recommend getting the Nissan OEM coils not aftermarket. For the spark plugs get the NGK brand. You want to do this job once and do it right. prolong misfiring can lead to other engine issues.

Can I just get the plugs changed for now
Automotive Expert
Yes, you can. 80% of the time is the coil and 20% is the spark plugs.

If i cant get it fixed until next week will it be ok to drive
Automotive Expert
Don't drive the car while misfiring. It will damage the catalytic converter raw fuel is going to be dump through the exhaust. The converter is going to cost you lot more money.

Ok. Just wondering because of the holiday. Thanks!
