Q: Need to replace camshaft position acuator

asked by on

I need to locate and replace camshaft position acuatoron 2008 impala

My car has 270000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Without additional info as to your engine type, this cannot be diagnosed properly. The camshaft position sensor on "most" vehicles is located near or around the camshaft/valve cover. If you run into any issues I would recommend having an expert from YourMechanic come to your home to diagnose any issues and replace your camshaft position sensor as necessary.
