Q: Misfire

My car was running fine till yesterday, on a freeway for a good 20 mins car starts losing power nd eventually turned off on it's on yesterday on a road, would not turn back on, had to get it towed, this morning it starts but misfires now nd it drives but engine now sounds weak, could it be a tune up?

My car has 180101 miles.
My car's transmission is unknown to me.
