What We Like

Honestly, there is quite a bit to like about the 2012 Infiniti G. The vehicle is more powerful than it might appear, and it has a great appearance with some nice color options. It also happens to be very reliable. The vehicle has excellent brakes. In addition, the interior features of the vehicle are high-tech and luxurious. It is a comfortable vehicle.

What Concerns Us

While the car truly is a great buy, there are some areas of concern that consumers will want to consider. The road noise is a bit more noticeable in this vehicle than in similar, higher-priced options. In addition, as nice as the interior might be, there are other sedans in the same category that have better features inside. Still, it is a great choice considering the usual cost of these vehicles.

Available Models

The base vehicle has a 2.5-liter V6 engine. It has 218 horsepower @ 6,400 RPM, 187lb of torque@ 4,800 RPM. It is a 7-speed shiftable automatic. A 3.7-liter engine is available as well.

Major Recalls

The Infiniti G is a well-made vehicle, and there have not been any major recalls involving the vehicle. There have been a few complaints from customers though, as mentioned in the next section.

Common Issues

There have not been any common issues encountered by a large number of buyers. However, there have been some complaints about the tires and the windshields. Overall, it is a reliable, quality automobile with very little in the way of issues.
