Connecting a scan tool to the system will be necessary to see why the warning light is on because there are many different components in the system that could be faulty. It could be a sensor problem, wiring issue, module fault, [ABS](/topics-abs-mercedes/) pump malfunction, brake problem, etc. Scanning the system will produce a trouble code that will identify what specific component is having a problem. The trouble code will allow a diagnostic of that specific component failure. If you can have the vehicle scanned and give me this code, then I can pinpoint a specific problem to repair.
My goal is to give you the best service possible and to help you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know. If I’m not online at the time, I will respond ASAP when I get back.
