Q: Q: Loud engine noise

The engine is making a sound like a motorcycle.

If you are hearing a rattling noise on start up and for a couple of minutes that then goes away, then the variable valve timing actuators are at fault. The manufacturer is working on a replacement now, and will issue a technical bulletin when the new part design is available. If you would like to have this issue confirmed, a diagnostic of the vehicle’s engine noise will verify what repairs are needed for your car.
