Q: Is it illegal to straight pipe my car?

asked by on January 30, 2018

I want to straight pipe my car just to see how it sounds and run it like that for a while until i get a proper exhaust i just want to know if it is illegal to drive with a straight pipe.

Each state has its own laws for noise decibel levels your exhaust can put out and may be illegal in yours. It is illegal to remove the catalyst on your car in any state though.
