Axle / CV Shaft Assembly Replacement $216.91 - $1118.08 Get a Quote

The CV axle is the "driveshaft" for your vehicle, and there are two of them. They are the shafts that connect the transmission to the front wheels, and transfer the power to drive the vehicle. A CV axle can fail in a few different ways, as there are a multiple parts that actually make up a CV axle. There is no way to guess how long you can drive on an axle that has been deemed bad. It depends what parts are bad, the driving conditions, and your driving style, so there is no way to say how long it will last. If a CV axle fails, you will be stranded until the axle is replaced, because when they fail, your transmission cannot get the power to the wheels.

Sway bar broke on my car after having ball joints replaced
It sounds like you had a ball joint failure (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-ball-joint-front). When the ball joints fail, it causes the suspension arm to fall lower and this can cause the sway bar end links to break. As vehicles age, the ball joints...

My cars enginefail safe mode has activated and I am curios what I would need to check to fix this.

My check engine light came on after transmission flush? And car is jerking in reverse and wont accelerate
The transmission flush would not fix a transmission light being on or fix any problems. It is to service the transmission and not repair anything. Since the transmission has a problem the check engine light came on since codes are...
