I'm just trying to find out how much would it cost to replace a freeze plug

My car has 196000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The labor for replacing a freeze plug may vary quite differently depending on the specific location of the freeze plug being replaced. As you know, there are many freeze plugs in the motor in various locations, some of which are very difficult to get to. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to take a look at the vehicle.

Steering wheel does not center
The problem to me sounds like you have worn out bushings that hold the power steering rack and pinion assembly. This is why your steering wheel gets off center in the direction of the turn. You will need to have the calipers and brake master cylinder inspected for sticking and internal seals problem. If the pedal goes to floor with no leaks then this is the master cylinder leaking internally by the piston cups.
