I hooked up a power inverter to my car because I work for the railroad and I needed it for a radio my defroster and heater are not working I'm a hundred percent positive it has to do with the fan. It's driving me crazy I'm getting ice and do building up on the inside of my window how do I fix this

You did not mention if the fan is blowing out the vent or not? If it is and window is fogging up then you may have a clogged heater core and may need to have the cooling system flushed out to try and unclog the heater core. If the blower does not work at all then you may have the blower resistor or blower motor is bad. The system will need further testing to isolate the cause of the problem. Recommend having a mechanic like one from YourMechanic come and test the a/c heat system for you.
