I had a brake booster with a vacuum leak so I replaced it with a new one. I took it on a short test drive and everything was working perfectly. I later took it on a longer drive and then noticed that the car was slowing down on its own and the brake pedal became very firm. Eventually, the brakes seized up. After sitting for about an hour, the brakes loosened up enough that I was able to get it home but they were again tightening up by the time I got it back into the home garage. Do the brakes need to be bled? Is the booster possibly bad?
