Q: How much is a starter for 1999 Monte Carlo

asked by on

My car will not start. It won't crank what can it b. My car has an automatic transmission.

I thinks it's either the starter or the alternator

Hello - there a number of possibilities for a "no start" condition: dead or weak battery, ignition switch, starter solenoid or motor. I would recommend a starting system inspection by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, diagnose this problem, give you an accurate assessment of damage and cost estimate for repairs.
