How do I wear a seat belt?

Seat belts are incredibly important safety features that can save your life, or greatly reduce injury in an accident. It’s vital that you wear your seat belt correctly. Here are some things that you should always check after buckling your seat belt: 1. The lap belt should run over your hips, and not your thighs. It should never dig into your abdomen. 2. The shoulder belt should run over your shoulder, and never along the side of your arm, or into your neck. 3. The belt should never be twisted. 4. There should never be slack in the belt.

The statements expressed above are only for informational purposes and should be independently verified. Please see our terms of service for more details
