How do I unlock the trunk with the electronic key?

The electronic key allows you to unlock your trunk without actually using a key. If the electronic key is on your person (for example, in your pocket or your purse), then you can unlock the trunk by pressing the unlock button on the face of the trunk. The trunk has a sensor that detects when the electronic key is on your person. When the sensor detects the key, then the trunk will unlock with a press of the trunk unlock button.

Tip

The trunk will automatically be locked when the doors are locked.
