The power liftgate has three modes: 1. OFF. In this mode, the power liftgate is deactivated, and the trunk can only be opened manually. 2. MAX. In this mode, the power liftgate is activated, and the trunk will open to its full height. 3. ¾. In this mode, the power liftgate is activated, and the trunk will open most of the way, but not to its full height. This feature is very helpful when in a garage or other enclosed area with a low roof. To choose between these three model, rotate the power liftgate knob, which is on the overhead console. The vehicle must be in P (Park) to adjust the power liftgate.
