The spark plug is not firing.

Hi. This is a pretty common problem with F-150 trucks. Often, the torx screws that hold down the gear selector on the steering column come loose. This will cause the shifter to be loose and may prevent it from selecting a gear. A trained technician, such as one from YourMechanic, can inspect the shifting issue and suggest and appropriate repair.
