Thanks for those details.
Yes, faulty spark plugs can be one of the possible causes for what you are experiencing over 2500 RPMs, but that is not the only thing that can be to blame. There could be a [fuel injector](/topics-fuel-injector-ford/), fuel pressure, vacuum leak, MAF sensor, or throttle position sensor concern.
