It sounds like headlamp switch or body control module has failed. Unplug [headlight](/topics-headlight-ford/) switch to see if they shut off, if not replace. If so replace body control module. Here are also testing instructions and wire diagram for system from manual. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.

It sounds like the violet/orange wire is shorted to ground. Unplug the BCM to see if light shuts off if not folllow wire to find short or run a new wire. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.
