Sound's like the core may be clogged, also the hose thats limp you want to replace, flush the core both way 3x with short burst of air after the core is full with 20 psi air behind it, that should get it cleaned out and the core working again.

I drained and flushed the radiator and the coolant reservoir changed the [thermostat](/topics-thermostat-ford/) and I still have no heat also the upper radiator hose has gone completely limp or soft Mechanic's Assistant: How old are the hoses? And have you tested the actual mix of your coolant? The hoses are probably 7 years old the upper hose the lower hose is possibly original.I haven't tested the actual mix of the coolant however I will say that against my suggestion coolant was added mixing universal coolant and green colored coolant.
