Hello, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I'm sorry your having problems with this vehicle so I'll try to help you with this issue.The website may prompt if you want a call, but that would be up to you. So it is either the belt has a rock or something like that in it or in one of the grooves on one of the pulleys you could take the belt loose and crank it to make sure it's nothing else.

Was advised crank pulley was 5 groove and all the others were 6 groove
Would this make it tick also?

if it was lined up to run correctly it might, or if anything was leaking and getting on the belt it would as well. say like oil or coolant.
