Q: Convertible top not retracting

asked by on

The convertible roof will not retract. The driver's side rear window will not lower, preventing the roof from opening.

If you noticed something different than usual when opening the top, then that’s where I would start. That being said, the soft top is an extremely complex system and would require someone with access to troubleshoot the flowcharts from Mercedes. Contact a qualified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, to diagnose your car’s convertible top.
