My car shut off while driving, it won't start and I noticed milky color on my oil cap. Also I discovered I have a bad [water pump](/topics-water-pump-chrysler/). Okay, if it did not overheat, then it is possible this may be a failed cam or crank sensor, fuel pump, or other issue. When you turn the key to the ON position, can you hear the fuel pump in the tank come on for a few seconds and then turn off??Chris

I'm not sure, but how can I run that kind of test?

Have someone turn the key to the on (not start) position while someone else places their ear near the fuel tank under the rear of the vehicle. There should be a soft whirring sound from the tank for a few seconds.Chris
