Automotive Expert
Thank you Ill be right back. Let me see what I can find.

Ok with a multimeter can you test terminal 16 for +12v and test terminal 4 and 5 for ground -12V

Im not sure where that is
Automotive Expert
Sorry the image didnt attach. Its there scan tool connector

What do i use for the ground?
Automotive Expert
Connect the red test lead to the battery.

What about the black?
Automotive Expert
Usually the center of the cigarette lighter is positive just make sure you dont hit the wall. you have to aim directly in the cenetr OK try testing pin 16 first red lead to terminal 16 and the black lead to any bare metal surface on th ebody like where the door latch locks onto you shoudl get approximatley 12 V

It keeps fluctuating between 6 and 5.3But my battery is down to 6 volts
Automotive Expert
ok your going to have to charge your battery its too low. Either replace the battery or charge it. Its way to low to perform any diagnostics and may be its the root of your problem. You could bring it to advanced auto or auto zone afetr its charged and have it tested before you go any further. Also did you complete the reassembly of the transmision

I never took it off the [engine](/topics-engine-chevy/) i realized my jack wasnt working right. My car wont start so i cant drive it thats the big problemMy neighbor has a charger so when he gets home ill be able to charge it
Automotive Expert
ok let me know if you still have any further issues. I would also have it tested to make sure the battery has enough voltage and amps so that you can get that out of the equation as a fault.

I will ill let you know when i get the battery charged
Automotive Expert
Ok

Okay so the 16 has 12v how do i check the 4 and 5

Merry Christmas mon we love you all
Automotive Expert
Put the red lead int0 terminal 16 and then test 4 and 5 to see if you get 12v ground
