How do you set the clock with a navigation system?

Setting the clock on a car with a navigation system is just as simple as one without the nav system. It might actually be a little easier. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Press the setting button.

  2. Choose clock.

  3. Choose your format (12 or 24 hour).

  4. Choose to offset the hour.

  5. Choose to offset the minute.

  6. Choose whether daylight savings time should be active.

  7. Select your time zone.

Tip

The clock automatically sets itself, so there should be little to no need to actually set it. It does so based on GPS connectivity.

Will I Lose Gas If My Gas Cap Is Loose?
If your gas cap is loose, you will not lose fuel in its liquid form. You will, however, lose fuel in its gaseous state (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/can-a-loose-gas-cap-let-gas-leak-out-of-the-fuel-tank) which is called a vapor. Gasoline absorbs heat and, if left in an open container,...
Transmission acting up after tune-up.
The first step is to check the transmission fluid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-service). This is done with the engine running at operating temperature. If the transmission fluid level is OK, there is an internal problem with you transmission. I suggest having your Jeep...

Well the check engine light is blinking. A track light keeps coming on and there seems to be loss of power. Engine running rough.

After driving few miles on a Mercedes ML500 all lights and signs goes on including the hard breaker and a beep sound starts.

If the thermostat is bad would it cause the heater core to not work properly?
Hello - you are correct. If the thermostat is stuck open (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-thermostat), not allowing the engine to warm up properly, there won't much, if any, heat in the passenger compartment. However, if you are smelling coolant in the passenger area,...
VDC, Slip, service and car take a couple seconds to start.
Hi there. Check the master cylinder reservoir and see if the fluid is low. Low fluid in the brake system will cause the slip light to come on with the VCD light. Also, check the condition of the car battery...
