Q: Check Engine light on

asked by on January 21, 2016

My Check Engine, Check Electronics light was on. I changed the gas cap, but the light came back on a few days later.

If the Check Engine light came on in relation to the fuel cap being replaced, then that means it may not be a fuel cap related problem. I would recommend having the vehicle scanned for trouble codes by a knowledgable technician, to determine the exact nature of the Check Engine light.
