Q: Car turns off if keys jingle

asked by on

Car would not start, but now starts. But when driving it, if the keys jingle, it turns off the car.

It sounds like your ignition switch is failing. This is a common problem with your vehicle as well as its sister, the Nissan Pathfinder. Heavy key chains can also be to blame for premature failure. You will need a qualified technician to assist you in this issue in order to have your ignition key switch repaired.
