Q: Car starts, but no power to accessories and lights

asked by on

My car is starting fine, but there is no power to the accessories, odometer, running lights, and taillights.

A: The most likely cause is the ignition switc...

The most likely cause is the ignition switch is binding. This is the electrical part in the steering column. I recommend you have a mechanic, like ones from YourMechanic, inspect the electrical components and verify the switch is the only part needed and the connector is not burned at the switch.
